For the past decade this dynamic band has been performing at weddings, bar & bat mitzvahs, corporate parties, Casino events and nightclubs throughout the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware Tri-State Area. Alex has surrounded himself with the finest musicians and vocalists that compliment his exceptional vocal ability. The band prides itself on giving your guests an affair to remember, keeping the dance floor full and providing a great and wonderful time for all.

Alex Glover
Alex is originally from Toronto Canada where he started his musical career and recorded a number of songs for Capital Records while a member of the group Canadian Conspiracy. He also did extensive touring and was an opening act for Neil Diamond, Kenny Rogers, and Natalie Cole, to name a few.
Alex started his own band in 1980 and moved to the USA the following year while working at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City. Since that time, Alex Glover & Company have gone on to work for such notable companies as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Trump Casinos, AC Hilton Casino, and Bally Park Place Casino.
Since 1993, Alex and his wife Judi (also musical director) retired from the road and have been living in Egg Harbor Township and working wedding and corporate events in the Delaware Valley.
Susan Davis, Lead Vocals
Susan has been a member of Alex Glover & Company since 1996. She is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Teaching Certification in Special Education. Susan has been featured in musical productions at the Ritz Theatre and the Jewish Community Theatre.
A former Miss Mays Landing (in New Jersey), Susan competed in the 1990 Miss New Jersey Pageant where she won a talent award. Susan has recorded a debut album entitled, "Shining", and is currently at work on a follow up project.
As the voice of Turkey Hill Minute Markets, Susan's numerous commercials and jingles can be heard over the airways of Pennsylvania. Susan is most notably the mother of Noah and Jonah, and the very lucky wife of Jay Davis.
Judi Glover, Keyboards, Vocals & Musical Director
Judi has been a member of Alex Glover & Company since 1987. She is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Piano Performance. Besides working with the band, she is currently a Piano Accompanist for student recitals at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She also performs with various size ensembles, ranging from solo to quintet, at Atlantic City Casinos and other corporate functions in the Delaware Valley.
As musical arranger, Judi has scored music for ensembles ranging from 5-piece groups to 30-piece orchestras. She is currently arranging for Show Choirs at various Virginia High Schools. Additional professional activities include private piano instruction at Blessed Sacrament School in Margate, NJ.
Jack Hegyi, Bassist
Jack has been a member of Alex Glover & Co since 1999. Jack began his career as a professional bassist in 1976. He has performed in a wide range of musical situations, including: "Star" Shows, Musical Book Shows, Lounge & Jazz Bands, Jingle dates, Big Band & Dance Band dates, Club & Wedding dates.
Jack has performed in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Reno, and all over the country as the traveling Bassist for Mr. Steve Lawrence and his wife Eydie Gorme since 2003.Star" Shows in Atlantic City include: Carol Lawrence, Anthony Newly, Bob Hope, Danny Thomas, George Benson, Mel Torme, Luci Arnez, Steve Martin, Louise Du Art, Scott Record, Rip Taylor, Charo, Joel Gray, Michel Legrand, Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, Tony Orlando & Dawn, Kathy Lee Gifford & Regis Philbin, Blackstone, and many more.
Book shows include: Little Shop of Horrors, Cats, City of Angels, My One and Only, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, Forever Plaid, Nunsense, Legends in Concert, Guys and Dolls and many more.
Eric K. Apelt, Trumpet & Lead Vocals
Eric has been a member of Alex Glover & Co since 1998. Eric began his love for music at a young age, listening to his mother's old Beatles and Sinatra albums. He began playing the trumpet at age 9. He has studied with Philadelphia legends: Tony Marchione, Seymore Rosenfeld and Rick Kerber.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Trumpet Performance and M.A.T., Master in the Art of Teaching (music) from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Influences include: Miles Davis, Lee Morgan and Freddie Hubbard. When not with Alex, Eric teaches at Father Judge High School and Settlement Music School, both in Philadelphia. He also performs locally with The Soul Survivors and Lecompt.
Alan Cassett, Guitar & Lead Vocals
Alan began playing guitar professionally as a teenager and after studying at Berklee college of music, he traveled throughout the states with his own dance/funk band as well as working with many other working bands.
While living in Los Angeles, Alan worked as a studio guitarist and played with professional acts such as Marylyn McCoo and Billy Davis Junior (of the Fifth Dimension).
Alan is also an accomplished writer whose work has appeared on commercials and television productions, most notably, the hit television show Beverly Hills 90210.
Brian Farr, Drums & Percussion
Brian comes from a musical family and started playing drums at an early age. He studied and played many styles of music during his school years.
Some highlights from high school are winning the New Jersey All State jazz band competition and receiving the Governor's Award for Arts in Education. He went to Temple University on scholarship and earned his bachelor's degree in music education.
After college he traveled around the country playing in several different bands and also studied at the Drummer's Collective in New York City.
Recently, along with playing in Alex's band, he has been immersing himself in the Philadelphia jazz scene and playing with some of the best jazz musicians in the city.
Dave Cubbler, Saxophones & Vocals
Dave is a 1992 graduate of Glassboro St. College - now Rowan University. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education. Dave
is the band and choir director at the Penn's Grove Middle School by day, but he really enjoys the night work with Alex Glover & Co.
He also plays in pit orchestras for many local high schools and community theaters. When Dave isn't playing music he will most likely be relaxing with his wife and family in their Mullica Hill home.
Phil Kaufman, Trombone
Phil Kaufman is an elementary school band director in the Bensalem Twp. School District as well as a high school jazz band director. Phil is also an accomplished musician having played with groups such as Lecompt, City Soundz and Big City.
Phil is also a member of the Bucks County Symphony and recently recorded with the band Echolyn. He also had the privilege to perform and record on the documentary, City of Brotherly Love with the Soul Survivors. Phil graduated from The University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Music Performance and Masters of Arts in Teaching.
